Our Tank's Speciality

The poly-glass lining is provided in the first two compartments to provide a large surface area and for anchoring anaerobic bacteria in the inoculum

Bio-Media ( 400 sq.m/cu.m) Is filled in the second and Third Compartment to increase the surface area and serve as a growth medium for the Bactria

The Bio-Specific tank is an improved version of the technology Developed by DRDO, Gwalior. It has five compartments
with interconnecting flow
They can be buried underground and can withstand vehicle load over their digestion of waste hence periodic cleaning is reduced

The last compartment can be used for pumping and/or disinfecting the treated effluent. The tanks are 100% Leak proof easy to maintain.

A Common manhole with cover is provided for the first four compartments Inoculum to digest human waste will be added before using the bio-septic tank

Frequently Asked Questions
01Is an FRP septic tank cheaper than an RCC tank?
Yes. Composite (FRP) tanks are priced lower than an RCC tank of the same capacity, and you also save on construction time. Call us with the capacity for an exact price.
02What tank capacities do you supply?
Composite tanks are made from 1,000 litres to 60,000 litres, for water storage, septic, bio-septic, grey water and rain water harvesting use.
03What size of bio septic tank do I need?
It depends on users: 1,200 L for 6 users, 2,000 L for 10, 3,000 L for 17, 5,000 L for 30, 10,000 L for 65 and 30,000 L for 240 users.
04How long does installation take?
An FRP tank is installed in one day and can be used the same day – no curing time like RCC.
05How does your 5-stage bio septic tank work?
It has five compartments with poly-glass lining and bio-media where anaerobic bacteria digest human waste; the last chamber is for pumping or disinfecting treated water.
06Does a bio septic tank need regular cleaning?
Much less than a normal septic tank. Bacteria digest the waste, so sludge formation and periodic cleaning are reduced.
07Can an underground FRP tank take vehicle load?
Yes. Thicker shell and stiffeners let the buried tank withstand soil and vehicle load, and anchors with nylon straps stop it floating.
08How long does an FRP composite tank last?
Our composite tanks are designed for a life of 75 years and do not corrode, even in saline conditions.
09Do you supply FRP mobile toilets for sites and events?
Yes. Our FRP portable / mobile toilets are light, weather-resistant and easy to move – ideal for construction sites, events, rural areas and relief work.
10Are your tanks tested or certified?
Yes. Tanks are hydro-tested for leaks and made to AWWA D-120 standards, under an ISO 9001 certified quality system.
